Outlaw Cave & Canyon
About 20 miles southwest of Kaycee

Outlaw Cave is a prehistoric rock shelter and Indian Pictographs can be found nearby. The Middle Fork of the Powder River is also viewed along this route as well as beautiful panoramas of the red mountain walls, the canyon at the Middle Fork of the Powder River and the Dull Knife Battlefield. The deep cave was also a popular hideout for outlaws including the Wild Bunch from the nearby Hole-in-the-Wall hideout.
