Thermopolis is home to the World’s Largest Mineral Hot Spring and Hot Springs State Park. The park offers swimming, soaking, and sliding in the hot mineral water. The park includes historical and geological sites and a ten-acre bison pasture. The Wyoing Dinosaur Center offers a world-class museum, working dig sites and complete modern preparation laboratory. The town hosts three other museums, whitewater rafting and other water sports, and horseback riding.
