Alpine
Pop. 550, Elev. 5,700

This border town is half in Wyoming, half in Idaho. Named for it’s lovely mountain scenery, some of the buildings also reflect the old-world alpine influence of early settlers. Robert Stuart camped here in 1812 while trying to lose a party of Indians hot on his tail.
